All of the staff at Krates Eye Center are amazing. Dr Krates is a very kind & understanding man. He makes you feel like you are a family member. My husband had both eyes done by Dr. Krates & he couldn't be happier. He has worn glasses all his life and now he is free of them. Dr. Krates is a gentle soul who is a expert in his field. I know my time is coming soon and there is no other doctor that I would want to do my eyes. FORGET THE REST, GO WITH THE BEST.......DR. KRATES IS IT!!!!!

great bedside manner and terrific follow up care!

I had a 10:45 appt. but didn't get in until after 12. Received no apologies. The nurse told me there where a lot of difficult patients, all elderly. I at 58 was there youngest. Since my insurance didn't pay for the office visit. They charged the full $150. They wouldn't even negociate a lower rate. Even my dentist will compromise a lower rate. What's wrong with this place? Don't go there they don't care about the patient only the $$$$$. In the times we are living in with health care problems you would think some compassion would be given. But not at Krates Eye Center of Orland Park. If you value your $$$$$$$$ do not make an appointment with them. Best of Luck elsewhere.
