Village of Orland Park Recreation Department has been operational for more than 50 years. Located in Orland Park, Ill., the department offers various programs, such as preschool activities; dance classes; exercise sessions; music and cultural arts; clubs; senior activities; special recreation; and events and activities for teenagers. The Franklin E. Loebe Recreation Center includes classrooms, an indoor playground, walking track, wrestling area and administrative offices. It oversees the maintenance of various park systems, including Centennial Pool, Grinding Edge Skate Park, Centennial Park and John Humphrey Sports Complex. Additionally, it offers outdoor activities and several sports programs that include softball, baseball, football, volleyball, tennis, soccer, golf, cross country, swimming, and track and field.
