Jerling Junior High School offers classes from grades six through eight and is located in Orland Park, Ill. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as language arts, literature, social studies, science, math, Spanish, fine arts, communications, health, physical education, music and research. Field trips are planned by classroom teachers to extend student learning beyond the classroom. The school provides a variety of extracurricular activities, including art, chess the school newspaper, choir, band and orchestra, speech, drama, student council and yearbook. It offers various sports, such as basketball, cross country, softball and volleyball. The school is as part of the Orland School District.
