Specialized counseling for infertility. Loss and grief.

General Info

Individual sessions are for teens and adults. Family and couple sessions are available. Some insurance is accepted for individual and group sessions. The first session is approximately 75 minutes with subsequent sessions to BE 45 MINUTES. GROUPS are held 4-6 consecutive weeks and are offered throughout the year. Chartreuse center will offer a group if interest warrants a group in addition to the regularly scheduled groups. Regular groups include: surviving infertility and mending ME grief GROUP. WORKSHOPS are scheduled based on the topic. The PET loss workshop is offered once a month. Other workshops focus on a specific topics such AS coping strategies. Insight building. Or expressive technique. Events are offered a couple times a year to educate the community regarding issues surrounding infertility and grief.

Chartreuse center provides individual and group counseling services for issues surrounding infertility. Loss and grief. ART therapy and expressive therapies are integrated into counseling to help when the words are TOO hard to explain the intensity of experiences. Infertility support is for individuals and couples that are newly exploring fertility concerns. Have experienced miscarriage. Are experiencing emotions surrounding testing or procedures. Have changes in relationships. Or have recently achieved pregnancy after treatment. Adoptive and Foster parents are supported through their waiting parent period while participating in the home study process AS well AS while adjusting to a NEW child in their HOME. LOSS & grief support includes bereavement DUE to a sudden loss or a loss after a terminal illness. The services GO beyond bereavement to include a PET loss workshop and workshops for coping strategies or insight building regarding life changes. Individual counseling is for individuals and couples that are bereaved. Recently experienced a change in health. Or entering a NEW stage of life such AS entering the working world or retirement. CAREGIVER issues. Or loss DUE to unexpected tragedy such AS loss of home DUE to a fire. Weather or FLOOD. COUNSELING sessions are offered in orland park. Groups. Workshops and events are held in the community.
