As a photographer, I got out of stopped traffic to report on a fire in Walnut Creek. The tow truck driver behind me pulls up and starts berating me for stopping even though traffic was completely stopped. Even though I had an 8 year old with me, he starts using profanity and when I take his picture to report it says that he is going to call his lawyers and have me sued for taking his picture without his permission even though he is in public. Obviously he wasn't very familiar with the law but his aggression, profanity and the fact that he was on the job in uniform and in a company vehicle astounded me. When I reported it to the owner Larry, he was dismissive of the entire thing showing that this unprofessional and reprehensible mentality pervade the entire business. I should expect as much from a tow truck company but seriously??
