My wife and I bought a Subaru Outback from Berge Auto. They were very friendly while filling out paperwork, etc. (That's the only reason they get two stars.) We noticed a burning smell coming from under the hood within days of buying the car, so we had it checked out by an independent mechanic. He said a leaky hose was the reason for the smell. He also said we needed to have both front axles replaced. We took it to Berge because they offer repairs for a discounted price through their mechanics. We should have had the first mechanic do it. The owner at Berge acted so snappy and put-out it was unreal. My wife had to go back three times with our toddler. I will never take our car back for any repairs, and we will definitely never buy another car from them.

I will keep this as short and sweet as I can. This place is often busy and they turn over a lot of cars. We have purchased a few cars here and intend to buy a few more here. We always look around for the best deals for the best cars and LA Auto is always in the running. We have recommended this place to several friends and family members and they have always been taken care of very well. The cars here tend to be in better shape and lower miles hence the little higher prices. The service center there can't be beat either. We bought a ES 300 there 10 years ago and have had it serviced there often; it still runs like a champ. For our money and peace of mind we will continue to keep Berge LA Auto at the top of our auto shopping list.
