Old Stone is the only kennel we consider going to for our adorable St. Bernard, Roxie! All of our dogs have loved it there, and we appreciate the family atmosphere, and the great attention they get. I highly recommend Old Stone to anyone in need of lodging for their pet.
We've given Old Stone Pet Lodge (OSPL) a five star rating but they deserve a five THOUSAND star rating! My husband and I have 11 pets; 6 dogs and 5 cats. We're so attached to them that it's very difficult to even consider traveling and leaving their care to someone else. At least that's the way it used to be. Now, we feel 100% secure because we found OSPL on a yellowpages.com search and, after trying it out, discovered that the owners and staff truly do deliver on their promise to care for and love their clients' pets. We get transferred frequently and therefore have had lots of 'boarding' experiences. OSPL far exceeded our expectations. We picked up 11 clean and happy pets yesterday after a week out of town. That made us happy. But we know our pets were happy, too, because they were relaxed on the way home and when we got here, they jumped right back into our schedule without any visible stress whatsoever. We LOVE OSPL and have already planned two more stays this year! Try it!
There aren't words to describe the care and attention the dogs get from the staff at Old Stone. Of course there is no place like home, but Old Stone runs a close second. Chip weighs 7-1/2 pounds so it is important he not lose weight which many dogs do when they are on "vacation". Chip comes home "fat" as ever and clean and healthy. After a horrible experience at another boarding place, we will never take Chip anywhere but Old Stone. When we plan our vacation, we reserve Chip's suite first or we wouldn't go. Chip's Mom
This is the very best kennel ever! Check it out and you will see! Having had pets all my life, I have 30 yrs experience taking them to kennels all over the state and this kennel by far is my favorite!! Gone are the days of feeling guilty when I leave on vacation and leave my pet at the kennel. I know they are safe, being treated great, are happy there, and I know this because they come home happy and healthy! I love this place so much that weekly I add an hour to my commute to bring my current dog to Doggy Day-care there. It is fabulous!! They help train your dog and your dog comes home happy and worn out. You can't help from forming a friendship with the owners and staff there - you can tell they love the animals as much as you do. Their services are worth a million dollars to us and we're happy they don't charge that -- instead you'll find that their fees are very reasonable and worth every penny plus some. This is the greatest place!!!
