      General Info

      Park Place Music and Theater Academy started as Park Place Violin Studio in 2007 in Oregon City and soon started to evolve to its current form as a local, high standard, moderately priced local learning center for various instruments and drama studies. Currently PPMTA has three teachers involved (Elisa Boynton/strings, beginning piano, guitar and kantele; Rebekah Carter, piano; Patricia Hand Amore, drama education). The focus is on creating and developing a life long love for music and theater arts through enthusiastic and technically high level instruction for local clients. Summer time contains lessons, classes and a summer camp program. We encourage all students to reach joyfully for their highest personal performance in a supportive environment.

      Amenities
      Quarterly recitals keep the progress and practice motivation going. We run lessons in the summer time as well. We want to keep up the love and inspiriation for playing and acting! We have teachers with college level music and teaching background so we have the best to offer with moderate pricing. We want to create a comfortable and effective learning environment for our local clients.
