Great specials, customer service, and atmosphere. Try it out.

Our first dinner there produced mixed results. Staff was wonderfully friendly and very helpful throughout our meal. Hamburger and chicken salad platters were very good and the bbq wings received rave review; salad bar was limited but very fresh. However, they were out of several items, including the ribs, which had been recommended to us by friends, as well as a couple of other entrees. The fried zucchini was okay, but tasted like it was fried in the same oil as either fish or some other food, i.e., tasted funny. The Prince Michel house wine was mediocre. With some attention to details, this place may have a lot of promise for those of us in Orange looking for a family friendly restaurant with fresh, good tasting food. P.S. It would be nice to star those items that are gluten free!

We tried CJ's for dinner and was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the food was more than enough! You get alot for your $! We also went for breakfast and by far the best breakfast around, although, a little pricey but very good. Need a few more options on that menu. We will definitely be back since the choices in Orange are limited, this is a place we will visit often. Agreed that they need some pointers and offered a few like bringing the coffee pot to the table instead of taking your cup back to the kitchen, maybe adding some citronella candles on the outside tables are a few of the little things. Place is pretty and well maintained.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE EATEN THERE TWICE. FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. GREAT FOOD. I HAD BROILED SCALLOPS. YOU GET A SALAD AND 2 SIDES. ALOT OF FOOD FOR THE PRICE I DON'T GET THE PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY WAIT ALONG TIME FOR FOOD THAT ISN'T GOOD. COMPLETELY FALSE. REMEMBER, IT IS A NEW RESTAURANT AND THEY ARE STILL FIGURING THINGS OUT. ALSO, YOU PEOPLE LIVE IN REDNECK ORANGE, SO STOP COMPLAIING. I KNOW YOU ARE NOT USED TO EATING FANCY. THERE IS ONLY ONE OTHER MODERATE RESTAURANT IN TOWN. I HAVE LIVED IN ORANGE FOR 5 YRS AND I AM USED TO HAVING THE SELECTION OF RESTAURANTS THAT WERE GREAT WHEN I LIVED IN FREDERICKSBURG. THIS RESTAURANT IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO THIS TOWN

Managent does not know what they are doing you have to wait forever to get bad food do not recommend

Clean, attractive dining room. Food is average and nothing to put it over the top or make it stand out. Many items are not prepared inhouse. Fried mushrooms are flavorless and prepackaged item as is the fish in the fish and chips. Clamstrips are bland. Calamari was not too bad, but should have come with a sauce. We asked for one and got a commercial made cocktail. Iced tea was starting to ferment and had that flavor. Dining room was busy and the 2 waitresses were doing their best to keep up. Friendly but rushed. There was another employee wandering the dining room taking pictures but offering no help. Just filling glasses with beverages would have helped. The menu is laid out awkwardly and there is no burger offering at dinner. Too many items on menu. The town of Orange needs a good family restaurant. But, unless CJ's starts preparing food fresh and in house it will not remain open for long. Even though the prices are reasonable it will fail.

My husband and I have been in for dinner twice now. Both times we had the same server, Deb. Not only was her service great, but the atmosphere of the establishment and the food are great as well. We hope that this restaurant is around for years to come. GREAT JOB!

By far the best food around.

This is a very nice place to eat, friendy employees, and good food. All this place needs is some music in the bar. I have a great time when I go in the bar on Fridays, the bartender, Tracy is great always has a smile for everyone. Just needs Music. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

I have been too CJ"s of Byrd st and have eaten many times they have a good selection of food and desserts, the waitresses are very hard workers and tend to the customers well, the prices are great I received more than enough food on my plate. It was very busy at times and we waited but I knew this was not a fast food restaurant and the wait was well worth it! The dish the chef made which was called scallops and shrimps Italiano was absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!! I will definitely be going back!!!

My friend Dave and i ate here last night, we had a very good meal. For appitizers, we had the fried mushrooms and calamari, which were very good. For the main meal, we both had the steak Dianne, which was excellent, so tender we could cut it w/ a fork. The serving size was larger than either one of us could finish. The chocolate pie for dessert was awesome. Katy was an excellent waitress. Ashley was not our waitress, but being slow, she did come over and talked to us also. Both were very friendly.

Went to go there twice now for dinner and have been closed both times even though they say their hours are 11-9
