Lamar State College-Orange offers freshman and sophomore academic courses and vocational and technical programs. It has various divisions, such as allied health, business and technology, liberal arts, mathematics and science. Its academic affairs division includes instructional departments, continuing education, work force training, the Learning Resource Center, library, computer center, Office Of Institutional Research and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Its division of student services and auxiliary enterprises admissions and records, advising and counseling, campus security, financial aid, student activities, student center, student organizations, testing, campus dining services and a bookstore. Its continuing education and work force development department provides noncredit student learning opportunities for the community and customized training programs. Its computer center provides a computing network, telephone system, information processing infrastructure and services.
