Brought my truck in to change spark plugs. Was having some idle and acceleration issues.They insisted doing a diagnostic and charged me $100. Told me they needed to dismantle my engine to check the cam and lifters ...etc. Said it was a common problem with my truck. Estimated $3,000 to $4,000. I took it to the dealership, they changed my plugs, found two burnt boots. Truck runs great. Cost w/oil change $389.00. People like this are what gives mechanics a bad name.

I am a local person and I always look for the best deals in my area. Finding a mechanic shop that you can trust is one of those things you have to have especially today with the vehicles we drive. I'm an ex-mechanic, I spoke with him by phone, and he explained her problem well. He recommended and took her to a local dealership where she had the car repaired. A very positive experience with a skilled technician and friendly business owner. I can see why his business is "swamped" with work!
