Atmosphere was great, loved the music, and the environment was clean Everyone was friendly and the stylist Renee Ramirez rocked out my hair, I absolutely love it!!! I received highlights and a cut and style and was more than impressed with the results. The shampoo was nice and relaxing and Renee made me feel confident in her abilities through how knowledgable she was about every question that I asked. I would and WILL be back here, and give Renee 10 stars in every direction. Much love to Rockstar Salon for a great experience. God bless.

BEWARE!!! I called JCP Styling Salon to make an appointment for my daughter and I to get a shampoo and a haircut. We were scheduled with the same stylist. I was told that I would be given estimates and that the shampoo would be about $7.00 and the haircut/style would be about $24. On the day of the appointment, we arrived at 10:30 am, which was our scheduled time. We were told by the stylist that she was running behind. A customer arrived a few seconds before us for the same stylist and this customer was put ahead of us. We were told that we would be seen at 11:30 am and for us to walk around in the store until time for our services. I wanted to just walk away but my daughter and I needed our hair done for a special occassion. We were seen at close to 12:00 pm. Our hair looked fabulous, but that's not the problem. When I went to the front to check out, the stylist asked me if the prices were explained to me. I told her I was given basic prices. She said she figured as much. That's when I knew I was in trouble. Well, the stylist said she used the top of the line conditioner, which was about $10, and the shampoo and style was $50. She decided to do me a "favor" and give me $5 off to make it a total of $55.....each!! Then she gave me her business card and asked me to come again! NOT!! So, I spent a total of $110 for a shampoo and a cut for myself and my daughter. I was hot!!! I told the receptionist that I was not expecting the services to cost that much and she responded by telling me that the salon charged corporate prices. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to put a tip on the debit card I was using for payment. I said, "NO!" JCP needs to pay their stylists out of those "corporate" prices it charges the customers and not rely on the tips of their customers to make up for their measly pay. I mean, we looked great, which is why I gave 2 stars, but the price was too much to pay. I regretted that I didn't make an appointment with my regular stylist before she left for out of town. She does just as good of a job as the JCP stylist who did our hair. Big dislike, JCP. You need to give salon customers an exact dollar amount of what the services will cost so that we can make up our minds then as to whether or not we want to use your services. Don't wait until our hair is done and we are at the register to let us know that we are over our budgets!!
