Founded in 1994, BASCA is a community-based, nonprofit organization that serves developmentally disabled individuals. It is a multifaceted organization that provides educational, social and recreational opportunities for children and adults with special needs. The organization offers a range of in-home services, such as personal care, respite, support and companionship. BASCA also provides various residential options to individuals. In addition, the organization provides transportation services for residents and community members. It provides the YMCA Daystar Program to provide transportation for wheelchair participants. BASCA also organizes training seminars and recreational activities. The organization is located in Orange Park, Fla.
