The Kistlers come from a family of barbers and stylist professionals- established in 1960. Owners Tim and Toni Kistler have been married and working side by side their entire careers. Both were destined to carry on a beauty tradition established years earlier. Tims Dad, Daryl, entered the hair business in 1960. Tims Uncle John later joined the business and together the brothers opened their Warren, Ohio location. Tonis Aunt Rita was an award-winning hairdresser in Pasadena, CA. with 50 years in the profession. The years of experience and extensive training in precision haircutting, custom coloring and perms. The Kistlers have often said a visit to their salon is as if you had come to their home. You will always find fresh coffee, cookies, a large assortment of soft drinks and lots of good conversation.

      The Kistler's opened their current downtown Orange location in May 1991. November of 1993 the Kistler's expanded to the suite directly behind them, adding 1300 additional square foot, operating under the name, The Hair and Nail Mall, filled with talented stylists, nail technicians and skin specialist. The entire team has years of experience and extensive training in precision hair cutting, custom coloring and perms. The Kistler's has often said a visit to their salon is as if you had come to their home. You will always find a pot of fresh coffee, cookies, a large assortment of soft drinks and lots of good conversation.
