Children and Family Services is a part of Social Services Agency (SSA) of the county of Orange, Calif. The agency provides a range of intervention and prevention, family assessment and shelter, and planning and permanency services. It also offers continuing family services. SSA operates under the policy direction of the Orange County Board of Supervisors and the California Departments of Social Services and Health Services. It is responsible for planning, implementing and operating various social services. The parent agency receives funding from state, federal and county sources.
