- Established in 1995, Tisha Harman and Sheryl Edgar left their associate positions with their prior firm to start, A Center for Children & Family Law. Their goal was to help families through the practice of “Children’s Lawâ€. Although many law firms in Southern California practiced in family law, primarily as divorce attorneys, there existed no law firm that focused on the families, representing the “voice of the childrenâ€. Tisha and Sheryl knew that with this forum, they could practice what they loved most about law, advocating for children and families. They have focused the firm’s practice exclusively on the representation of children and the families who love them.
