I hope to save someone from the upsetting and very frustrating experience that I just went through after spending over 4 hours at Salon Monika (receiving highlights by the owner/stylist Monika Wells) When I went in to try to discuss my unhappiness with my hair with her (some of my hair was WHITE not blonde) I was treated extremely rudely and I was threatened by her and thrown out of her shop. There were several customers who all witnessed her behavior and would hopefully agree that I was extremely calm and tried to discuss with her my issues and she flatly refused to discuss it, I was called a liar and told to leave her shop immediately or she would call the police. She called me on the phone a couple days later to apologize and said that she was just having a bad day and offered to fix my hair after I said that I was not comfortable with her doing anything to more my hair she again got IRATE and refused to refund my money saying I paid for a service and rec'd a service.

A great cut for a great price. Don't let the simple looking salon fool you, Monika delivers a much better cut and color than any of the higher priced, sleeker salons in the Chattanooga area and for about 1/3 of the price.
