Nothing humane here, esp. if you are a feline lover or activist. RCHS super't previously worked with animal group lasted 2 wks; does not like cats. Better chance of survival if you are a canine. They lie, show favoritism. RCHS took rescues and owners personal two pets, without cause, except the landlord, complained after tenant gave notice. HS told owner several times they were going up for adoption. Instead of adopting out, they put down ALL the felines, claiming the were FeL Positive. Three felines not captured were tested. Only one tested positive (test takes 10 mins not 10 days) The other two who lived with FeL Pos cat for 2 years tested negative. The owners personal feline tested negative in 1998, 2003 and 2006 The rescue home had all the adult males neutered and was scheduled in 2 days to neuter kittens and vaccine before placing into permanent homes. All the felines could Not have tested positive as RCHS claimed. Lost of innocent lives left many broken hearts and families
