Established in 1896, The Oneida City Fire Department works to serve and protect the lives, property and interests of the citizens and proprietors. The department has achieved Class A residential rating from New York State Insurance Organization. It offers firefighting, confined space rescue and emergency medical response services. The Oneida City Fire Department provides arson investigations and fire and housing inspections for families and multiple residences. The department also offers several fire prevention and safety programs. It has a team of lieutenants, housing inspector and fire fighters. The department also organizes various educational programs on fire related issues for children. The Oneida City Fire Department is located in Oneida, N.Y.
