Happy's is a wonderful, second generation, locally owned restaurant just south of Lake Mille Lacs - an easy stop for the traveler's on US Hwy 169 and those using the facilities of the lake. The food is made on the premises and includes hamburgers, soups (great chicken dumpling), chili, chicken, salads and fresh scooped ice cream as well as other frozen delights. Their root beer is the best I've ever had! We watched them build the place, add on to it, add the play ground and havew always enjoyed the food and friendly service over the past twenty years.
