Tenaska Marketing Ventures is a subsidiary of Tenaska, a specialist in the power generation, natural gas and electric power marketing, fuel procurement and generation asset development markets. Established in 1987, the company specializes in site development, engineering, construction, financing and operating management in the energy industry. It has developed approximately 9,000 megawatts of generating facilities and owns and manages nearly 7,400 megawatts of generating facilities in operation. Tenaska has raised more than $7.7 billion in aggregate financing for developed projects through commercial banks, capital markets and equity. Tenaska, a top-10 daily marketer in the North American natural gas market, sold or managed more than 1.52 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in 2005.
