Saratoga Elementary is an educational institution that enrolls more than 200 in pre-kindergarten through grade six. Located in Omaha, Neb., it employs a staff of over 20 teachers and paraprofessionals, including an instructional facilitator, counselor, technology coordinator, resource specialist, and speech and language pathologist. The institution conducts classes in various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. Saratoga Elementary publishes monthly newsletters and offers food services. It also operates a community learning center that provides academic and social enrichment activities for youths and adults. In addition, the institution features the TeamMates Mentoring program that offers support and encouragement to school-aged youths. Saratoga Elementary is a part of Omaha Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and senior high schools, as well as features alternative education programs.
