With thousands of trees in production, Lanoha Nurseries is able to control the quality of the trees and insure that the trees are acclimated to the Nebraska climate. The production of trees, shrubs and perennials is the lynch pin of the nurseries success. The company is one of the largest nurseries in the Midwest. In 1995, Lanoha's bought the 110-year-old Marshall's Nursery in Arlington, Neb. Marshall's added thousands of large maturing trees to the Lanoha Nurseries inventory. In 1992, another 240 acres of trees were planted, known as the Flatland Tree Farm. Lanoha Nurseries has grown to offer more 1,000 acres of Nebraska grown plant material, all acclimated to the Midwest weather conditions. The company is privately held and is located in Omaha, Neb.

You have to love a place with a huge silver trowel out front. This nursery is a destination in and of itself, whether you are buying plants or not. Huge indoor areas full of gardening and interior decorating materials, even larger outdoor areas full of tropicals and flowering plants, and even more plants, including flowers, trees and shrubs outdoors. Statuary, pavers, fountains, you name it, they have it.
Plus the staff is very knowledgeable and numerous, no matter where you are on the property.

Ryan helped us pick out what trees would work best for us. We bought 7 of them! When the crew came out to install them they did an incredible job! As my husband said..."perfect". Hats off to Lanaho Nursery!
Being first time homeowners (and tree purchasers), we had no idea what we were doing or looking for. The staff was great at helping us find the perfect tree for our back yard. After we found it, the installation process was a breeze! It's all included! We put our flag in the ground where we wanted our tree to go and they took care of the rest -- called the diggers line, installed it (aside from the tree, you couldn't even tell they had been there, and it was muddy out), and mulched it. It didn't even take them an hour. On top of that, their trees are guaranteed for 2 years.
I can't say enough good things about them, we'll be back again!!!
Our experience from start to finish was great. The young man that helped us select a tree was super helpful and went at our pace. He explained what we needed to do to keep the tree healthy after it was planted. Price was competitive. Installation was 2 weeks earlier than they originally thought it would be. The crew that came to put it in this morning did a great job. Took their time making sure it is straight and turned for best presentation. I would have given it 5 stars but you were out of stock on our first choice. Thanks Lanoha, we'll be back.
