Hasn't changed since I was a kid, still one of the best places in a South Omaha..

My husband and I just tried Joe Tess for the first time. We have heard that it was good and we saw it on diners drive ins and dives. So w thought, what the heck, let's try it. What a mistake. We will never go back. We both like fish, but not whole fish just chopped in half, rib bones in place and everything. It was really horrible and we were both wishing that we had gone somewhere else, really anywhere else. Never again. The best thing about the restaurant was the pickles. That was the only thing that you could eat to get the horrible, fishy taste out of your mouth.

This place is an Omaha tradition. Awesome Catfish and great selection. The prices are good and the atmosphere is fun. My kids enjoy going there and also the fried chicken is wonderful. One of Omahas Best!

My family has enjoyed Joe Tess Fish since before I was born and continue's the tradition everytime we have visitor's come in from out of state! Delicious, Hot, and Crispy Catfish!!!
