General Info

Dr. Tricia Schmit grew up on a farm outside of Bellwood, NE. She attended Aquinas High School in David City and then moved on to Chadron State College where she earned her Bachelorâ??s Degree in the Health Sciences. Dr. Schmit earned her Medical Degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then completed her pediatric residency in Pensacola, FL, where she met her husband. Dr. Schmit practiced pediatrics from 2002-2013 in a privately owned clinic. Dr. Schmit is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
