Last week Tuesday the seller of a firearm I purchased dropped the firearm off at Cascade early in the morning. He was told it would go out that day and they made up a UPS shipping label for it right there and gave him the tracking number. He soon supplied me with the tracking number.



Thursday (two days later) it still hadn't been picked up by UPS and when the seller called he was told they had just gotten some packaging materials and it would go out that day.

Friday (three days later) it still hadn't gone out and he was again told it would go out that day.



Tuesday of this week (seven days later) he stopped in and wanted to know where the firearm was? He was told that UPS hadn't stopped by their location in several days but they had that day and the package was already gone.



I work in shipping and receiving and know a bit about UPS's systems. After he told me this I checked the tracking number on UPS's site. It still hadn't been picked up. In fact it was finally dropped off at the local UPS hub five minutes before they closed Tuesday night several hours after they told him it had been picked up by a UPS driver. So they were dishonest with the seller, their customer, who had paid them to ship it over a week earlier.



I wouldn't do business with them again if they were my only option.
