Sadly this place has gone way down hill. I first toured it in 2006 and it was beautiful, tucked away in a housing development, a lot of 70 s vintage charm. Fast forward to 2012...STAINED carpeting, the bridal dressing area upstairs went HORRID, apparent broken faucets, toilet in open space with curtain around it, bath tub crudely had wooden top nailed down on it, I get why, but really?..Could have maybe turned it into a large open container for potted plants, real or fake, or maybe even turned it into more of a professional job of a pedestal for something like plants or a step up to it with a full length mirror...the toilet definetly needs real walls!...Vinyl is very old and needs replaced, and the cheesy DIY tile work here and there, good try at it but it didnt make it better. The outside of house is in need of painting, it is apparent it is lacking TLC and it is a shame...6years ago it was up to par. The tents look as though they are never taken down, not bright white but dingy, gazebo looks like it is falling apart. extra fridges just left out on side of house in the elements. The mens restroom and/or their changing area needs to be revamped to where it is not commercialized,,,whats with all the doors upstairs perhaps a place that can be converted into an area for the groom? The big kicker...the man, husband of the grandaughter who inherited this place, in 2006 was clean cut,,,now, nothing close to it, showed up late, bad body odor was very deshoveled he want on to explain he also does ministry services..really?!. Then as we are inside the house looking around...some person/people come tromping through with a dog...weird hair, tattoos etc...as though they were there and doing something in the house, the man acted like he didn t know who it was,,but it was apparent he did...I think this place has SADLY been abused and ignored and appears to be more of a social hang out when not being used for functions..I may be harsh with this review, but it is true, the pictures on the website are VERY old and do not reflect the current condition. For $1500 I would expect more....like clean and not broken down...the Thurston County Fairgrounds Expo would be better money spent. Don t worry about the extra fee s for the tents, a comment was made sometimes as a gift they throw then in...it is probably more like they never take them down
