Heritage Financial Corporation, a bank holding company, with its headquarters in Olympia, Wash., operates two independent community banks, Heritage Bank and Central Valley Bank. Both banks, with a total bank network of 20 branches, have histories of serving their communities, and are recognized for financial performance. Heritage Bank was established in 1927, and serves the South Puget Sound region of Washington State, and offers a full range of products and services. In 1999, Heritage Financial acquired Washington Independent Bancshares, and its subsidiary, Central Valley Bank, established in 1962, which is a community bank with a primary focus of small business and agricultural lending. Heritage Financial Corporation is included in the new NASDAQ Global Select Market.
