This store used to be great, but recently they started TAPING ( and not simply taping-TAPING) everything together in lots. It's so hard to get all the tape off when we come home it's very frustrating. The worst part is that we can't see the condition of the entire lot- which are priced a little (or quite a bit ) higher than if I were to buy them by the piece at regular price. I didn't like the idea of purchasing all the dishes without inspecting each one, but due to the extreme taping, I wasn't able to look at them. When we finally did manage to get the dishes apart, sure enough there were chips and scratches on several of the plates. I did complain- to no avail. The way they tape the glassware together makes for an accident waiting to happen. We scratched this particular goodwill of our must go list- hopefully, they'll try something else.
