My insurance requires renewal of long-term meds every three months. Maria canceled the last appointment, and since the clinic has reserved afternoons ONLY for virus testing, I do not have availability to reschedule right now. I also do not believe they can decontaminate the office sufficiently every night to make it safe for healthy people every morning, so I feel at risk to even go in for a "health check-up". I am also not going to travel through downtown Olympia to the office due to recent violence.

So, instead of working with me to reschedule a check-up, she REFUSES to approve my meds for renewal, and despite desperately needing these meds due to ongoing health concerns, would rather see me drop dead than continue to allow me to take the same meds I have been for years.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MARIA. SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT MY HEALTH OR MY SAFETY.

Really helpful, really professional, treat you like a valued client not just a source of revenue, listen to how you feel without trying to insist you make a particular choice, give all options in depth and go above and beyond to make you feel better without spending a fortune or wasting time with "meet and greet" greedy bureaucratic protocols...no unnecessary fees, nurses are genuinely friendly and the scheduling person actually gets you in reasonably fast [within a week for me, they often can go 2 weeks or even months at other clinics!], they want to help you find what's best for you not just the highest profit for them, very efficient, fast test results, minimal waiting time, even gives out a large number of free condoms {I had a severe adverse reaction to hormonal birth control} they don't judge you either or rush the process, you get back to feeling better in no time :)

We all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and Eastside Clinic never fails to provide! I have never had such phenomenal, compassionate care. Nancy Armstrong is excellent. I recommend this practice for anybody in need of a new clinic. I have been seeing Nancy since 06, and I would definetly recommend her and her staff. :)

The Office staff is very efficient, you don't sit and wait like most other offices I have been to. The medical staff actually takes the time to talk to you instead of treating you like cattle. I was new to the Olympia area and was lucky to be referred to Dr. Dewell. Upon my first visit she referred me to another area doctor who in turn is doing heredity tests that just may save my life in the future. She is more than just a doctor she is a wonderful human being.
