Our team is a Worker Owned Cooperative led by Kari Kari Hansen D'AboyMA, CRC, who brings over 20 years of vocational and management experience to the table. Our members include vocational counselors, consultants, risk management specialists, and computer science technicians who aggressively pursue positive outcomes for our customers and clients. A "cooperative" is a business that is owned and controlled by its employees. Originally conceived in the agricultural arena, cooperatives have now expanded to every realm of business. The difference between a coooperative and a traditionally-run business lies in the active role assumed by the workers, the collective decision-making process, and the group vision of the process. Cooperative members work together to achieve mutal goals and share equitably in the profits of the business. D'Aboy Career Horizons is proud to be the first vocational counselor cooperative in Washington State.
