I went to Methodist OB for severe abdomen pain. The ER Dr. ran some test then was pretty much going to just give me meds and send me home. I begged for a second opinion because something was obviously wrong. They called Dr. Ryan and when he arrived, he had a surgery team ready to go in less than an hour. He explained what was going on, what he could do, and he did it. At one of my worst times and when others just looked at me like I was a "drug seeker", he took the time to look at vitals, test results, and was awesome! I was nervous because things others had said in the past about him, but with me there is no doubt in my mind. He stood up for me and took care of me. He answered any questions I had (which are usually a lot) and explained everything. I thank God that he was there and fixed me up!
