Tom's counseling was absolutely effective in my recovery.

Tom has been such an amazing gift for my entire family. I began seeing Tom individually through my EAP at work and he helped me through a crisis. Soon after my husband and I began coming in together to work on our marriage and now my grown son is seeing him as well. I have also referred others to Tom in my professional work with great success for most individuals. Tom is extremely accommodating with regards to payment and insurance acceptance. I appreciate his engagement techniques and ability to converse and share suggestions in a way that is non-threatening and never judgmental. My husband is extremely difficult to engage in any type of counseling and he really enjoys the time we spend in counseling together now.

He's a nice enough guy but was absolutely ineffective at counseling my teenage son who was having drug use issues, depression and diagnosis of autistic syndrome disorder. He did take my insurance so that was good as far as being cost effective option for us. His office faces the west with big windows and no window treatments and in the summer the brightness and heat are unbearable. My son thought he was a joke, didn't seem to "counsel" son much, just "told me a lot of stories each time". We went to Tom at least 5 times, which was enough time to determine he wasn't for us. Maybe others have had better luck with him. Oh, and he was very accomodating in regard to hours to have a appointments.
