Schoonmaker, George & Colin, P.C practices matrimonial and family law. Members of the firm include nationally recognized attorneys in those fields as well as leaders of the Connecticut and American Bar Associations and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. The firm handles complex financial and tax matters in the family law field as well as matters involving child custody litigation, proceedings to establish and/or modify parenting plans, and premarital agreements. This includes cases involving electronic evidence and computer discovery. For example, Schoonmaker, George & Colin, P.C recently served as lead trial counsel for the successful father in what is reportedly the longest child custody trial in United States history.
