Provided by YP.comWorst customer service ever! We bought an electric fireplace from Moe a little over a year ago. This winter (the first winter owning/using the fireplace) it quit working. We called Moe and he said he would work with us to get it fixed. I sent him an email in early December with all of the info he requested. It was in late January before we heard back from him and he needed another piece of info. I sent a reply with the info immediately. We didn't hear back from him. I sent him 2 more emails with the last one sent in March. Still no response. I called him last week (April 17) and left a message with an employee. We still didn't get a response. My wife calls on April 26 to find out what is causing the lack of response. Moe gave several excuses and apologized and told us that he would check into getting a part for us and to " call back tomorrow because I may forget to get back with you because, as a small business owner, I can get pretty busy ". Who says that to a customer? Especially a "small business owner" needing repeat business. He did send an email to me the same day we called with the information for the part. The problem was that it cost $62. Did he offer to cover the cost of the part after five months of ignoring us? Nope! Did he offer to pay for part of the cost? Nope! " As a small business owner" he couldn't do that. However, what he could do is hang up on us several (16) times when we called him out and gave him chances to make this situation right? Sixty-two dollars for a part to a fireplace that we had for one winter and it took five months for the "small business owner" to respond to our requests and hang up on his customers. The worst business in Kansas City.
