I used to shop at Burlington Coat Factory all the time. But that's going to change now. Last week I went in to get some things and ended up spending over $200. At the checkout I noticed I was overcharged for some wine glasses. They were charged me $20 but they were on sale for 7.99. I point out the mistake and they are rung them up again . I pointed out I was just charged for it again, and the cashier assured me that if it would come off at the end. Upon arriving home I noticed that it had not been taken off my bill and I'd been charged an extra $20. I went back in today to have the mistake fixed. I took my receipt along and the card I used. The manager was very rude basically accusing me of trying to defraud the store. They insisted they had to look at the security footage to see if I was being truthful. They also said I needed to bring the wine glasses back in. That makes absolutely no sense. I waited a long time while they studied the receipt and the footage. Eventually I demanded my receipt and said I would take it up with corporate. I will never shop at Burlington store again if this is the way they treat their customers.
