- Pediatric CareDr. Derek West, a native Oklahoman, grew up in South Oklahoma City. After graduating in 2001 from the OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, he returned to Oklahoma City to complete his Internship and Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at St. Anthony Hospital. He received additional training in pediatrics from the Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio as well as training in trauma, total joint replacement, and shoulder and elbow surgery while rotating at Tampa General Hospital in Florida.
- Emergency CareDouglas is happily married to his wife Melissa, a highschool math teacher in Edmond Public Schools. He loves movies, music, football, dogs, and being social. His interest in medicine can be traced to childhood home videos of his toddler self dancing to George Clooney’s “ER” theme song. His specific interest in Orthopedic Medicine began by participating in competitive 5A High School Football, increased during Human Anatomy with Cadaver Dissection in undergraduate studies, and finally, was fostered by his time with us prior to his Master’s Degree. Douglas also moonlights in local Urgent Care settings, and maintains that he will forever remain a student of Medicine. Douglas is always happy to see you at our Yukon location, surgery centers, and looks to have availability at the OKC location coming in early 2023.

She has been with Southwest Orthopaedic & Reconstructive Specialists for 10 years and under the direct supervision of Dr. Brad Reddick since 2010.
- ArthroscopyKnee arthroscopy is a surgical procedure that allows doctors to view the knee joint without making a large incision (cut) through the skin and other soft tissues. During knee arthroscopy, your surgeon inserts a small camera, called an arthroscope, into your knee joint. The camera displays pictures on a video monitor, and your surgeon uses these images to guide miniature surgical instruments.The doctor can clean up bone fragments and repair some tissues.

- Joint ReplacementJoints are formed by the ends of two or more bones connected by tissue called cartilage. Joint replacement is performed in a surgical center. Depending on the joint, the surgery may be performed as an outpatient procedure, or in-patient. Even those procedures requiring inpatient care almost never require a stay longer than 2-3 nights.

He completed his internship and residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Levings is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was fellowship trained in shoulder reconstruction and sports medicine in San Antonio, Texas.
