NEVER ever would I recommend this Salon. A Bridal Party, 9 people ,,,7 had to go back to the hotel,,just nearly across the street and the BRIDE had to redo our mess!!! No one had time to have it redone with the risk of looking even worse AND to deal with the attitudes of several of these "stylists". The one stylist, a man complained the entire time he did several styles (for the lack of a better term) that he had to be there that day, he was late to boot, late night out partying he had mentioned... Nice,eh? The other girl did an awful job, one of the bridesmaids was in tears,,4 stylists later it was close but still half fell out of the style, or the lack thereof, as did the mother of the brides.Really, should we have been charged for this mess?The bride was so disguisted she redid 7 peoples hair..What a way to spend the wedding day!Thanks Red Salon, you gave us all a Wedding Day memory we shall never forget & you lived up to your name,,We were all pretty red,anger & frustration

I believe in second chances and trusted a stylist there after a incident that occurred with my adult daughter's haircolor. She was told she had a "chemical reaction" to their product used on her hair, it caused her head to blister severely. She received an apology as compensation. I had been happy with my haircut and decided to have her retouch my color. She did a horrendous job coloring my hair. She did not touch my root line with color and when I mentioned it to her, she appeared distant. Within two weeks I called back to have her look at my regrowth, she said she too was surprised that it did not cover and if I wanted her to re-do it she would have to charge me for the product. What??? I stood up and calmly told her the color swatch she showed me and the money I paid for this service is NOT what I received. and I would not be back. She said, "Ok." In the twenty years I have been having my hair colored, this has never happened. I felt like a burden. Tacky Tacky Customer Service!

so the new salon in okemos is salon red... you should see it and they do everything.. I was so worried about trying a new color line and the girls talked to me and said it would be fine and I love it. I heard the commercial and I called.. very happy with all the service I recieved and I have already made my next appt....

After having a bad day I went to Salon Red to get a hair cut and walked out with a Great cut Awesome new color and a new friend. Bianca and staff are wonderful and I know you will not be disapointed with there service.

I loved salon red I heard all the commercials and it sounded like a fun place to go. I got a pedicure and a few hilites and loved the experience.. Ive already made my next two appts..would recommend to try..

I am not unhappy with my cut but the highlights I got, and paid over $150 for, did not go all the way to the roots. Also, the staff was unprofessional and was using inappropriate language in front of the very young costumers they were serving. While I was there at least one other costumer complained and was given a discount. I would not suggest the salon because you do not get the service for the money you pay.

I've been to salons all over the world... and Salon Red is the best salon I have ever been to.. they have everything. Salon Red's decor is amazing, you have to see it to appreciate all of the hard work and detail that went in to designing this amazing establishment. Aside from the beauty of this full service salon, the stylist are all highly trained and do a wonderful job. They really brought the star out in me!!! I've never looked so good. Thank you Salon Red, see you at my next appointment!
