We are from out of state, but stay in MooreHaven several months in the winter. Last winter our 14-year-old Bichon, Charlie, became very ill and would not eat. Dr. Mims had never known Charlie in his younger days, but he treated him with as much love and care and kindness as he would have treated a dog he had known for a long time. He tried many ways to tempt Charlie to eat. Doctor Mims had Charlie the last 5 days of Charlie's life. He gave him tests and intravenous feeding and finally the only thing left to do for Charlie was to put him to sleep. Dr Mims kissed Charlie goodbye and consoled us in our grief. And then he gave us a very small bill for all of those days of care. We were very impressed with Dr Mimsand his care.
