General Info

What is a loan modification? A loan modification is when your current lender lowers your monthly mortgage payment by altering one or more of the following: * Lower interest rate * Reduce principal * Convert from variable to fixed rate * Extend length of loan * Bring past due payments current Why would my lender agree to a loan modification? In the long run, your lender will benefit more from renegotiating you loan and keeping you in your home with lower payments, than foreclosing on your home. Ever since I started with this group I really never understood what they were telling me. I had 4 different assistants that I spoke to. I called and left messages and got nothing back. I texted them and got nothing back. when I finally got thru and asked for an itemized statement I still never received one. they set me up with a payment account to the trustee before they ever went to court with my creditors?? I have a payment that could be 58 months, or when I talked to one of the legal assistants she told me it was 36 months??????? I lost my job and that's why I'm going thru this and the job I have now I make far less then I did then. have to put in a lot of overtime to make ends meet.. Its hard to take off work to go back down there but if I cant get through that's just what I have to do.. before you decided on this law firm I recommend you shop around.
