The Ogden City Fire Department provides planning, prevention, education and emergency response services to protect residents, properties and environment. It offers rescue and medical services and operates a fleet of more than four fire engines. The department is also responsible for handling hazardous materials. The Ogden City Fire Department participates in automatic aid with adjacent cities in Weber County in Utah to suppress structure fire. In addition, it provides paramedic services through contracts with the Weber County Commission. The department offers ambulance services that include including interfacility transportation to Ogden and northwestern Weber County. The department also works in partnership with Plain City in Utah to provide ambulance services.
