Compassionate and took the time to explain my illness. He was my third doctor and the only one to figure out my problem. He's great.

LOVED Dr. Hammond, I was just diagnosed with a pretty serious disease..and after a few different neurologist, there was no doubt I was going with Dr. Hammond!! I thought his bedside manner was great, and his knowledge is impressive..very smart, educated, knows what he is doing and recommends what he thinks is best!

Dr Hammond is my third neurologist in this area. And I have finally found the one that I am sticking with. I love him. He has gone over my MRI results and showed me EXACTLY where my lesions are in regards to my MS. The very first Neuro completely missed it several years ago when he only took a brain MRI. After several more years and me dismissing obvious signs of MS because of that misdiagnosis, I went to another Neuro that was supposed to be the best in the area. After seeing him, he may have been medically good. But his bed side manner SUCKED. Dr Hammond is soft spoken, direct, informative, has stated he would have started me out on a much more aggressive therapy than I was, and his nurse is always cheerful, empathetic, and more than accommodating and I have nothing but awesome things to say about him. When I talked to my family doctor about him, he also has wonderful things to say on a professional level.

Dr. Hammond is a compassionate doctor. He offers solutions and answers my questions thoughtfully and in great detail. He always makes sure I understand the treatment and the reason why a test, medication or treatment is needed. I really appreciate the help he has given me. I recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, helpful doctor.

I disagree. After seeing another Neurologist in the area, who gave me a diagnosis of MS and then offered me absolutely no hope....Dr. Hammond was exactly the Dr. I needed to restore that hope. My initial visit with Dr. Hammond was over an hour long. He actually showed me my MRI results on his computer and explained everything in great detail. He listened to me and my concerns, and offered a lot of insight into my disease. Dr. Hammond helped me to feel so much better and to realize that life was not over because of it. I give him High reviews in every way and would recommend him to anyone who is searching for a wonderful neurologist.

If you're looking for a compassionate, interactive, competant, professional neurologist, Dr. Hammond is not for you. I would like to prevent anyone from having the same dreadful experience that I did. From sending the receptionist to give me abnormal test results to not answering the phone for days, this office is second rate. The final straw came last week when I was expecting some results from a second EEG. I called to get the results and got a voicemail message saying the office would be closed for 2 weeks - WHAT? This test was supposed to tell me if I have epilepsy or not. The disregard and unprofessional conduct of Dr. Hammond's office and Ogden Clinic in general was deplorable, please look elsewhere for a neruologist - I wish I had!
