Operational for more than 35 years, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center provides health care services to more than 200,000 patients. Its specialty clinics cover orthopedics, surgeries, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, neuropsychiatry and pain clinic management. It provides various clinical services, such as treatment of Alzheimer s disease, diabetes patients and addictive diseases. It also various centers and institutes, including Center for Tobacco Prevention and Control, Garrison Institute on Aging, Hispanic Center of Excellence, Institute of Environmental and Human Health, and Southwest Cancer and Research Center. It also operates schools inside the campus, such as School of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Pharmacy and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. It also offers research program in the area of areas of aging, cancer and infertility. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is located in Lubbock, Texas.
