General Info

Francisco Couto, MD, is board certified in general surgery with advanced training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal disorders and weight loss. Dr. Couto earned his medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital, and underwent advanced training in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery at Greenville Hospital System/University of South Carolina. Dr. Couto is fluent in English and Spanish.
