Irwin County Middle School serves more than 400 students in grades six through eight. It provides classes in math, language arts, social studies, science and history. The school also offers classes in music, art and technology education. Irwin County Middle School has a staff of over 40 individuals, including teachers, as well as an assistant guidance counselor. It provides classroom guidance, individual counseling, support and network building services. The school a student council and offers membership opportunities for the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Irwin County Middle School also has a library and media center, as well as a cafeteria and computer laboratory. In addition, it conducts basketball and football activities. Located in Ocilla, Ga., Irwin County Middle School is governed by Irwin County Schools, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
