General Info
Children's House of Oceanside is a state licensed Montessori preschool/childcare. We offer a hands-on environment for children ages 2-6. Teacher/child ratio is 1:6. There are 2 large playgrounds and a beautiful classroom environment on over 1/2 acre, in south Oceanside. Our goal is to help each child develop a strong sense of self, and a love for learning. Sherry Eklund has been educating young minds for over 20 years, both in Montessori schools and through teaching adult/child music classes throughout North County. Each child at CHOO is treated as an individual, working and growing at his/her own pace. Children will experience work in the areas of language arts, math, sensorial, practical life, science and geography. Music, cooking and art are also part of the daily curriculum.
