Provided by YPmobileIf you want honest to goodness gumbo this is the place. Ask for Jeannie she rocks! She took the time to describe the shrimp and grits (yum) and eggplant dish. We will return and try it all staff very accommodating. Great vista of the bayou! Thanks for feeling at home.

Provided by YPmobileWent the other night and was very disappointed. Most of the seafood was NOT local. Some was even from Vietnam. This restaurant is on the Gulf Coast so why is not ALL the seafood local?

Provided by YPmobileI'm not sure why this place is so popular. The entire menu is overpriced with substandard quality. The roast beef and gravy poboy comes with no gravy, just salty beef. Asked for gravy and never received it. Fries would have been great if the ketchup wasn't spoiled. Nice view of the water....

Provided by YPmobileEverything about this restaurant was great. Highly recommend. Perfect service. Wonderful seafood, which I don't say lightly being from New Orleans. Loved it!

Provided by YP.comBeen a fan for years ... good seafood combination (broiled or fried), good stuffed flounder. My only complaint is that their beer selection is pathetic. No crafted beers at all. With Mississippi's only microbrewery (Lazy Magnolia) just down the road, there is no excuse for not carrying decent beer (I have written notes to the owner about this ... maybe using this venue will be more effective).

Provided by YPmobileThe food is generally good. They have a full bar and breakfast s good too. The clientele is generally a bit older than 50.:)

Provided by YP.comBreakfast meals are pretty good - however dinner meals are not as good. Handicap parking for access is poor. Parking places are on a slope so it's extremly hard to get out of car with someone holding you to maintain balance. Meals are overpriced for the quality of the food. Most of it taste like off the shelf WalMart generic products.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I go here quite often. We love it here because the atmosphere is very family friendly. It is clean and the staff has become like family to us. They always greet my girls with warm smiles and special goodies before their meal. We like to order the boiled shrimp which are rarely overcooked. The kids love the popcorn shrimp plate "boring but always tender and yummy" The roastbeef poyboy comes out with a steak knife, because after trying to pick it up, you realize you need a knife. Coleslaw is my favorite next to KFC of course. I love the country food plates that are somedays the lunch special. Changes things up a bit. Best Redbeans and Rice on the coast. Everything blackened is so good if you like the flavor not too spicy. Oh, by the way, breakfast there is OMG so fresh. Don't know how they scramble those eggs so perfectly? The pancakes don't even fit on your plate good. They say the secret recipe is Buttermilk, but can't duplicate those a home either. The bacon is thick and crispy. They never skim on portions either. Overall great place to eat. All restaraunts have an off day every now and then. This one has them very rarely. Kinda of like a bad haircut, everyone has had at least one of those, from your regular stylist.
