Captain John Prather is a MD native who has been fishing since childhood. Being a professional fisherman for the past 10 years, John has gained extensive knowledge about countless styles of fishing both inshore and offshore. Having traveled the east coast and on to the Bahamas, Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, he has encountered every situation imaginable. Handling everything from being "whammed" by tunas in the northeast canyons, and releasing 57 white marlin in a single day out of Ocean City, to catching bushels of crabs and limits of flounder in the coastal waters of Ocean City, Maryland. Captain John's calm and collected attitude keeps things organized and flowing smoothly to ensure an enjoyable day on the water. He is an enthusiastic fisherman eager to share with you his extensive knowledge of the waters with you. Whether you are an avid fisherman or it is your first time, Captain John Prather is prepared to make your fishing experience unforgettable.
