General Info

Dr. Mohammad Kamal attended medical school in Mosul, Iraq at the University of Mosul. After graduating, he relocated to Johnson City, Tennessee where he completed his Residency and Fellowship in Oncology/ Hematology at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Kamal has been practicing medical oncology in Marion County since 1985 and prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists, he had a successful private practice in Ocala, FL. Currently, Dr. Kamal serves as a Board Member of Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. Dr. Kamal is married with three children and enjoys golf, fishing, soccer and skiing.
