I would like to file a complaint with the MCMS against Family Care Specialist and nurse Melissa C. Lozano for non-professional conduct. I recently moved to Ocala and needed a medical practice in order of continue receiving my maintenance and pain medications. An appointment was made and after two 15 minute appointment, Ms. Lozano made the determination that the medicines I had been taking for 20 years as prescribed my a Doctor did not meet her criteria. She refused to write the medications that I needed and further would not give me any reason for the reduction other than to say "she did not agree with the Doctors prescription" Hard to understand that a nurse with six years experience could countermand a physician with over 40 years experience, and 25 of those years, I was under his care.
